Wedding Weekend Details

Hi family and friends -

I thought I'd make a place for us to post info about the upcoming weekend, without filling your inboxes with too many emails.  This first post is just a schedule of events we're planning for the weekend of June 28, 2014. 

Events:

Thursday June 26 6:30pm 
Dinner at Pita Vera in Blacksburg, for all who are in town.  It's a nice Mediterranean food restaurant - one of our favorite spots.

Friday June 27 12:00pm 
Lunch and staging ground for overnight camping trip (trip details in another post)
Meet at Brian and Emily's house, 2504 Capistrano St. We'll have lunch food. 
Here we'll sort out all of our equipment, make sure everyone has packs, tents, sleeping bags, etc, and divide up the communal gear (dinner, water).  We'll all carpool together from here.  Non-campers can come for lunch, if you wish. 

Friday June 27 2:00pm
Start hiking, at the trailhead on Clendennin Rd in Narrows, VA.
If for some reason you can't meet us in Blacksburg at noon, meet us at the trail at 2, packed and ready to go. 

Saturday June 28 11:30am
Return from camping trip
*Changed Plan* Lunch at respective houses - our house at Capistrano St. and Tom and Nina's house.  This change was made to give more time for prep for ceremony/BBQ.  

Saturday June 28 4:00pm
Wedding Ceremony
Heritage Park, Blacksburg VA

Saturday June 28 5:00pm -Sunset
Barbeque and fun in Heritage Park.  Some of our Blacksburg friends will be joining us, and we'll have lawn games and fun times.   

Saturday June 28 Dark - whenever
We have to leave Heritage Park at sunset, so if you're not ready for bed, please come on over to our house on Capistrano St, where we'll have a fire in the fire-pit.

Sunday June 29 10:30am
Brunch.  At Tom and Nina's "Lucy Land" house in Ellet Valley. 

Sunday June 29 6:00pm 
Dinner for all who are still in town.  Either at a restaurant in Blacksburg, or we'll just eat leftovers from the BBQ.
